1996 to current
Working at Persetel QData Networks (ex QData Networks, ex
Computer Alliance) full-time as a Pre-Sales Consultant
Consulting: I
am primarily focused with pre-sales consulting for our sales teams,
and handle RFIs, Investigations, Demonstrations, Pilots and initial
installation proceedings. The main workload lies with consulting
to, and investigating solutions for clients. In responding to an
RFP, I would identify the appropriate technology, design a solution
and draft a technical motivation. This work is usually accomplished
as part of a team.
Project Management:
Project management forms part of my job function during network
implementation. I was responsible for project managing a nation-wide
rollout of X28, X25 and routed sites (utilizing Chase terminal servers,
Duxbury PADs and Welfleet routers). I was also responsible for the
network management reporting for this network, as well as network
reconfigurations.
